I have to admit I am starting to like Miami. Just a few weeks in the crater-cracked asphalt of Brazil, Miami seems paradise. The new museum across the street helps: the design is spectacular, jaw-dropping, high wow factor, there’s culture and nature and it could be anywhere (but hey it’s across the street). From the Swiss architects Jacques Herzog and Pierre de Meuron, of Herzog & de Meuron, who did Tate Modern in London, the de Young Museum in San Francisco and the 1111 garage at the beach. Let’s hope they have exhibits now, and I will be a diligent member.
